Stag Beetle Linocut Print black cat a wonderfully strong yet suppleThis linocut print of a striking Stag Beetle was made using a single Japanese woodblock tool, a large V gouge to give these bold, graphic strokes. I intend to do a series of beetles in the near future and this Stag Beetle is hopefully the first of a collection. This linocut is printed on Somerset 250gsm Soft White Satin paper, 210mm x 150mm, image area 107mm x 150mm It is of a limited numbered run of a maximum of 200 prints.
